Pen and ink drawing: on a rainy night, a tiny dormouse sits on a big motorcycle with high handlebars. A bow by her ear, a cigar-shaped candy in her mouth. Her long coat has kanji written on it. She holds a wet envelope in both hands, looking at it. Her long, bushy tail trails behind. A flag with three kanji stands at the back of the bike. A crescent moon peeks out from the clouds. Puddles and grass on the ground. A monochrome, picture-book style drawing in pencil and pen.

Day 14

A Rainy-Day Little Friend's Big Noise

Little Friends on a Rainy Day

When the night is at its deepest. The hour when even the moon nods off. A rainy night, with everyone fast asleep. A rustle from the grass. Then a deep, booming roar, growing louder and louder. Enter tiny, tiny Miss Dormouse. And look — she's riding a mean-looking motorcycle. "Oh my, there's a letter lying on the road—" Miss Dormouse picks the letter up. "Oh dear, what shall I do? …This letter smells a little funny." Miss Dormouse reads the address. "…Oh, all right. I'll deliver it❤️"
